I really dont post alot on this site but i figured you all would be able to help me out.I am building an h22 a4 powered 1991 crx dx.The h22a4 is out of the sh model so i guess there is a difference in the 2 model h22a. here are a list of things done already
rebuilt h22a4 head
new head gasket
new water pump
new timing belt
new valve cover gasket/grommets
manual tensioner
new cam gears(honda oem)
unorthodox single drive crank pulley
esp mounts
esp traction bar
esp cable to hydro
esp alt bracket
p13 ecu
3 in intake pipe
raxles axles
now the question is john at esp said i need to get a midshaft adapter plate because the sh h22 has a (activetorque transfer system) i have read some of the articles on ht with the h22 swap.I am completely lost, someone said the sh block was cast different come hell or high water this engine is going into my rex, i just wanna find out what i need to do? where can i get the midshaft adapter plate and so on and so fourth i am to far into this to back out now please please help

i dont know if this helps but i used an accord midshaft with an 88-89 integra axle for the driver side, and a custom raxle axle for the passenger side. i used the esp mounts to. when looking into the h22 swap i never read anything about an adapter plate for an sh h22. call john and ask him more about it. he was always helpful when i called.

 

yes he is the one that told me i needed this adapter its a plate so i can bolt up the accord midshaft i found the link ty do you have pics of your swap?i would love to see

 

The sh has the ats system. It doesnt use a normal intermediate shaft. I think i saw a place that made an adapter but im not 100% sure. If i remeber right that ats system uses a 4 bolt pattern that is spread out and the inter. shaft is a tighter 3 bolt pattern.
