Help me! Bad transmission maybe?
Okay, so i was driving my friend home, when all of a sudden i notice my cars running really groggy like. sorta like i was driving with my ebrake on. and i notice my RPM's are slowly going down. Now when i drive it, it still feels pretty sticky, oh and my brakes were really tight when i got home. not sure if that has any part of that. so help me out. and please no technical stuff hah. im very noob.
oh and i forgot, the other day i was driving in 5th gear and threw it in neutral and my rpm's shot up to about 7k...then went down. didnt really know what happened.

Put the front or rear end on stands (wheels on ground blocked) with the transmission in neutral and the parking brake OFF. Try to turn each wheel by hand. You are looking for a wheel that is locked up or does not spin easily. If you find one, inspect the brakes on that wheel and, for rear wheels, whether the parking brake is stuck ON.
