B7 and A6 both use the same head casting, so use the b7 belt.

None.
Unless the B7 head is trashed.
Or unless the A6 head has a different cam, but then it's easier to just change the cam and not the head.

you'll need a y8/y7 cam gear or the timing will be 5 drgrees off, and you'll want to use the b7 timing belt.

The a6 cam is more aggressive than the b7 cam, gains will be somewhat noticable especially if you mill the head for a wee bit more compression.

the a6 cam wakes up the d15b2 and d15b7 quite a bit.

Si trannys are also good mods for cheap acceleration gains.

It's not that I don't know about the cam.
The HEAD is exactly the same, so I was trying to figure why somebody would swap out the entire head rather than just the cam.

a6 block locked up on a buddy this morning had both heads hw wanted to use the a6 but it wouldnt work with y7/y8 pulley and b7 t-belt.

So we just used b7 block and head with a6 cam and y7/78 gear and that worked perfect owner said it felt like it did before
