I have a question on rod bearing clearence.
Hello i built a forced induction b18c1 motor for my integra, the motor is already in my car and i found out i got the rod bearing clearences a little too tight. Is there any additive i can put to help wear the bearings or anything i can do to fit this. I just dont have the time to pull the motor and redo this. thanks
Nope, you have to pull it and swap out the bearings. No getting around tight clearances.
The surface of the crank journals and the faces of the bearings never actually touch, they're separated my a film of oil.....so they don't wear in at all. What were your clearances and how did you measure them?
