Default bootleg si help.

i have a 99 ex with a obd2b b16a2, running my ex harness on a p72. i have a few questions, first off the harness has a 8 pin for the dizzy which i cut off to switch to the obd2b plug(9 pin) for my obd2b dizzy(9pin). only eight of the 9 match up, whats the extra wire for? im also getting a cel 9 and 10. any help would be appreciated.

The extra wire (should be blue) is the tach signal wire. OBD2B ('99 - '00) civics and integras get their tach signal from the ECU instead of the distributor.
