Default cleaning rear seat, anyone got tips???

well it's time to take out the stain in my back seats. I know this post comes up every week, but I just want to make sure I don't discolor my seats or damage them in any way. People have stated in previous posts that mild soap and warm water does the trick. but what do i use to apply the soap and water to the seats, towel???? Hmmmm....and what kind of soap is safe??? Any replies would be greatly appreciated, and since we all got the same seats, I know a good number of you must have had to take some stains out, so let's here what you used. and what were the results. For people that used something that didn't work, post that too, so a fellow itr owner knows not to make the same mistake. TIA

I just vacuum the seat and use a damp cloth to wipe the seat. It works for me. But I don't let any of my friends sit in the back any more.
