Icon2 Power window - not seeing voltage

Hi,

I've got a 96 Civic sedan with a passenger side window that only goes up.

Fuses are good
Continuity check on the window switch is good
Window motor is good

I see 12v when I pull up on the switch, but 0v when I push down. Anyone have an idea what's happening?

Thanks

I think the problem is with the driver's window switch. Do the continuity tests for the driver's side switch. The driver and passenger switches are interdependent.

I have a very similar problem. i have a '97 EX sedan that the left rear window will go down, but not up. i tried a different (known working on another car) main driver's seat window switch, different motor, different switch for that door. all with no luck.

it was working fine until one day my wife put the window down, tried to put it back up and nothing. the first thing i tried was to unplug and plug back in the switch at the door. it worked again for maybe 30 seconds and then has quit again.

any ideas?
