Well I have a 98 GSR with a aem short ram, OBD-I 95 GSR ECU, Greddy Evo, Skunk 2 short shifter, skunk 2 intake and exhaust valves, and a couple of my buddies told me that after you get your ecu in it messes up stuff. Well I was wondering if this is true, and also I have a grand to spend on my car and I was wondering what I should get and in what order, the help would be greatly appreciated b/c I only have limited knowledge about cars but I wan't to learn more so when I go get stuff done to my car I won't feel like a dumbass and make them think they can rip me off. Also, I need to clean my air filter and I was wondering how I should go about doing that.

First question, do you want more power or better handling?

You could get yourself a header, Skunk2 intake manifold (Need to get the ecu chipped for that), CTR or ITR cams and cam gears. Also try searching and checking the drag and tech forums, you'll find stuff. You could go with NOS, but do research on that first(check FI forum).

If you want handling, ITR rear sway bar with mount kit so you don't tear **** up, springs/shocks, better tires...again, search will help you out.

I have a jg header, so what should i get next? Where should I get my cams and cam gears? and what should I know when I get them installed? I am a more power person. umm.....also how can i clean my air filter?
