i bought a civic hatchback si 92 with about 94k miles on stock motor, only aftermarket things that came with it is a injen cold air intake with a carb number and some nastysounding aftermarket exhaust tip... will it have an effect any effect on the air that comes out compared to a stock exhaust pipe... thanks

 

Tips don't normally sound nasty...are you sure the stock muffler is still on there, or the cat hasn't been replaced with a test pipe?

 

oh the sound is like a deep sound like what aftermarket exhausts give, all the pipings seem to be stock and the stock muffler isnt there, cat seems to be there also

 

a tip wont make it fail but is the tip connected to a cheap canister style muffler? waht matters the most is the converter.

 

youll pass, dont worry anymore. guys that are way more moded then what you have listed still pass.

you just have an axle back it looks like... or they just used the stock pipe and did a ghetto weld to fit the muffler on there. either way you will pass and you intake has a carb# so your fine.

san diego, 1992 clean title 3k$ ... included some carb legal airmass headers and other stuff... thought sunroof and brakelights were all broken but all i had to do was replace his fuses. paper work is kinda messy but im sure hes a good guy to help

Oh weak Bro. That looks like a GReddy EVO2 exhaust, minus the resonator. I run the Catback version. Way to hurt my feelings.

But that weld looks nothing like mine. I'm assuming someone gave them the muffler and they ghetto fabbed it, which would make sense on why it sucks on your car.
