state ref in s.f. for in adequant muffler ticket
is there any state ref in or around san francisco...i got a "inadaquent muffler" ticket and my friend said that i could go to the state ref to get my muffler sound tested to see if it passes the 92db mark or somethin...and my muffler isnt even loud at all...at idle you dont even hear it...any harrdly when it starts up...i dont even have a stock muffler to put on either...anyone kno of any??

no it didnt...but its not even loud..i mean like it really sounds like stock when its idling but a little loud when im in high rpm...it is possible to go to a state ref to get it signed off right?? if it passes there sound test thing??

When i received my exhaust ticket i went to the courthouse in Fullerton where i lived and a Sheriff came out and asked me to rev my engine up. That was the extent of the db test. The cops in Cali just love to pull people over and bust their *****... nah, its not discrimination.

he's in nor cal. call the # i left up there. its the ref's #. they'll be able to tell you the nearest location

i know...alameda is in norcal...but i bet there's one in the actual city for him
