Default Car is overheating please help!!!!

Alright i have 96 Gsr in my Ej1 coupe. After driver the car for x amount of minutes car starts to overheat and the fan is not turning on. I checked if the fan is working by jumping the plug and it works so its not the fan. I bled the radiator for air bubbles as well. I also changed the relay for the radiator fan so i know thats not it. I figured since the fan is not turning on it must've been the radiator fan switch sensor so i bought a new one. After that it still is overheating. So I narrowed the problem down to the coolant temp sensor or the thermostat but regardless the fan isnt turning on. What do you think is causing it to overheat and not turning the fan on. PLEASE HELP ITS MY ONLY CAR/DAILY! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is the thermostat opening up? Both upper and lower hoses will be hot if it does.

I am not sure I am following you. If you have a bad thermostat, it won't open, thus not triggering your fan switch. If you have already replaced the switch ( on the thermo housing ) then you need to test/replace thermostat. Good Luck!

sounds like the thermostat. how long does it take for your motor to get to normal operating temperature?

yeah it has to be the thermostat not opening. its worn. the coolant in the engine isnt moving to the radiator at all. thats why its over heating so fast.

sounds like thermostat. But the fan should still be comming on if the coolant that is still in the engine gets that hot. Just jump the plug and make the fan run all the time. It runs better that way anyway.

Check your wiring make sure that you don't have an open circuit in one of the wires if you have an ohm meter check continuity from the relay to the fan, and from the fan to ground, because by jumping it like you have you are creating a new circuit for power to flow.

Could definitely happen, it did on my gf's 00 ex. Bad thermostat was stuck closed, it wouldn't flow coolant so the fan switch never got triggered.
