Icon2 No Turn Signals?

I am in the process of an engine swap and also a automatic to manual conversion.

i was working on crimping to wires together so my car will always "remain in park" (Green/White wire & Black wire) so i can take my keys out since cant unless the car is in park.

while doign so i had my battery on the charger since it hasnt been charged for a good 3 months and was long drained. i could still hear the beeping so i knew the car had power, then after i clipped the yellow wire next to the black and green/white wire the beeping stopped(not sure if this is just coincidence) i looked and saw that the main fuse had blown. went to a local junkyard and bought one there, installed it and power was ok, but now when i turn on the turn signals, they wont engage and neither will any of the indicator lights on my cluster

the guage cluster isnt blown since the hazard lights will still show up when turned on, along with the backlights when the headlights are on.

so any clues to what could be wrong?

You could have fried the cluster. Does the car start and run? Have you checked the fuses under the dash? Do the lights come on in the cluster with the hazards on? More specific information would help, otherwise just look around because we can't help with the little information provided.

Also since you are from NWI repping the (219) type a little better, so it is easier to understand what you are talking about.

Well yeah I am repping the (219) how else would I know about that cheesey saying? But have you checked the relays as well? You could have burned one up. Where did you cut the wires? In front or behind the fuse box under the dash?

yeah true that

i cut the wiring that at one time went to my automatic shifter went too. but the wire (yellow) im pretty sure is for my reverse lights and i dont think cutting it would effect much since it just goes to a clip anyway

and im going to check the relays tomorrow during class since my cars in autoshop at Merrillville High
