Hello.

I have a 2000 civic EX 2dr which is 135000 on it. It make some creaky noise at the front end (I think) from the last month when I drove the car on the local load and highway. Not quiet lousy but it is repeated continually. What could be a problem?

Also I have a set of coil spring and strutes from 2003 RSX type-s which was my bro. Can I replace those parts for my civic?

when do you hear the noises? those rsx parts won't fit your civic.

 

rsx parts wont fit the civic, check yur ball joints

 

I heard the noise about 2 month ago while the car was running on the highway.
It wasn't noticible but repeated, so I recognized.

Is that the ball joint problem?

first things first: lube up your bushings with silicone grease.

if the noise continues, then look for other problems.

 

I hope the greasing works.. If you want to drop it and go with better springs, you might as well replace it all. ball joints, wheel bearings, struts,etc. I had to do all that and the CV's

 

Where is the bushings? Can I get some pictures?

bushings... you know, all the rubber pieces on the suspension. Where suspension parts are bolted together or to the chassis, there is always a bushing. Just look for rubber things underneath the car. Grease everything rubber, except the axle boots and tires.

i bet its just your front bumper. bang on your front bumper just below the grille and see if thats the noise you're hearing. i went through the same thing.

 

What did you do for the front bumber? Was any bolts looosed?
