If it's smoking under load, it's valve seals. They are only like $1.25 or something each. Check out Majestic Honda, they seem to have better prices than the other places I've looked at. Just make a decent sized order including other stuff because they have high shipping and handling like all the others.

Or it can be that chipped ecu. Try a stock ecu first, if the problem continues, do what he^^^ said.

try a GSR ecu first, you never know if someone messed up the Ecu trying to solder a chip in... if not that could be bad wrings/ valve seals

I say, Welcome to Vtec. Most Hondas smoke in Vtec. It is called blowby. The oil in the crankcase is under pressure and combusts when in Vtec. Then the PCV valve sucks out the oil vapors, sends them into intake manifold, then boom combusted out with the gasonline. Now if it is ALOT of smoke, then thats not good.

from what i know.
blue smoke = BAD sign!
your burning oil when you hit vtec. try checking the vtec solenoid gasket.

It's Valve seals, just get them replaced and you'll be fine, Try this Stay out of vtec for 2 weeks and see if you still lose oil. If so you may have bad rings then or a oil leak

if its smokes under load its, ring failure. if it smokes in decel its valve seals.

he could have a cracked piston land as well. either way he will have to crack it open
