Can i keep my cruise control with an aftermarket steering wheel?
I want to change out my OEM wheel on my 94 EX coupe but i want to try to keep cruise control if possible has anyone done this. I was thinking of just using the stock switch relocated to the bottom edge of the dash any ideas. thanks
I don't think that will look very good. If you have manual mirrors or some other block off plate, I'd mount a couple momentary switches in that and do it that way.
Not with any aftermarket wheel that I know of... However it has been done with s2k/EP3/Rsx wheels and looks great. Please do not remove your airbag on a daily driven car. I like to refer to that as the "natural selection" mod...
yes you can, just unplug the wires under the steering column and run your own wires to the buttons after you relocate it.
It is not that hard, but many people would rather just not deal with the cruise control
also you are going to have to hack up the stock wires in the steering wheel to get the buttons out

i guess i will just pull the wiring fromone in the junkyard. I like my cruise control its nice in a daily that receives alot of highway use like mine does
