Both look pretty real from what I can see in throught the blurryness. The JDM ITRs had a titanium shifter ****, while the later (98+) USDM ITRs had an aluminum one. This may account for the different colors...

If one of those does not have threads that fit your shifter, then it's definitely fake....

sorry bout the blurr, will get some pix tomorrow. i can pretty much gaurantee that the one on the rite is fake cuz the paint chips off when screwed on top of the shift nut and it came with my $20 shifter thru ebay. but the one on the left looks full titanium. they also weight the same...i think. also, the left one is too big for the ebay shifter. the right one fits the ebay shifter.

i dont think so because it came with my $20 ebay shifter...also, yeah the pix are crappy but you can definetly tell its just painted gunmetal. the paint chips off when screwed on top of the shifter nut. the left one has been used for awhile now so its wore out. thanks for the info tho.

I think so the **** is in the right direction...I switched mine with a lightweight spoon and when I swapped back, I tried it without the nut and it wouldnt face the right direction.

The nut is to postion the shift **** otherwise if you just tighten the **** without the nut the shifter postion would be offset.
