dizzy problems

Default dizzy problems

ok my dad says u can adjust it other then just sliden it in the slots and stuff but my car runs bad and he says its prolly that and he says u gota turn it somewhere else is there another place to adjust it?

whats the symptoms? I don't know how to adjust it without moving those three bolts and mine were a bitch to loosen.

ok it dosnt idle good actuwaly i think it idles to low lol and is realy boggy and my dad thinks it is to i kno its a hf moter but still and u can smell it not running right and the dizzy is all the way foward if i try to move it back it will almost die

To prperly adjust the ignition timing you need a timing gun/light.
You also need to defeat the electronic igntion timing in the engine computer (done by shorting a couple wires together).
Then you can properly adjust the timing to factory specs and tighten the three bolts down and you are done.

Sounds like your car probably needs more than just a timing adjust.
Has anything been done to it for tune-up recently?

its got new plugs wires dizzy and oil changed

well i double checked my timen today and noticed i was 2 tooths off and i fixed it and she runs soo much better i just need to find someone to trade my hf tranny for and get a dif head and ill be strait!!
