ok guys its been awhile since ive been on this board. sold my 92 sedan b16a3 a couple years ago just picked up a 92 cx for $500. my problem is this. when the parking brake is up or down the light stays on on the dash. i opened up the plastics and found the switch. even after disconnecting the light stays on on the dash... i think the wire is somehow grounded... any info on where the wire goes to so i can just cut it and run my own ? anyone else ever have this problem ?

 

Have you checked your brake fluid level lately?!

 

yeah that same light is hooked to the resevoir cap

 

try 92-00 civic section, I'm sure it gets a lot of more people going through it.

 

switch is sticking in master cyl reservoir cap,new cap and brake fluid flush should fix it.good luck !!!!
