Default E-Brake light question

Wassup guys, i have a 92 cx hatch and i just recently put a gsr rear disc conversion.

Now when i take turns very hard my ebrake light will pop on until i'm out of the turn, but my ebrake never goes up. So i'm wondering is it something with the connection or what? Please help me out....

thanks, john

I would say it's due to a faulty parking brake switch. Mine acts all screwy also.

if your brake fluid is topped off, it probably is the switch under the handle

The light will go on for two reasons for sure:

The brake fluid is low in the container mounted to the master cylinder, or,
the electrical switch on the bottom of your parking brake handle is having an issue of some kind.

Start there, as they are the easiest!

as stated above, your break light will only flash when there is a problem with the swithc
