Default Skunk2 Short Shifter Question

I just got a 99 civic si and i am looking for a short shifter and i realized that there are two different ones...there is a dual bend and a single bend and i was wondering like is there one better than the other or what is the big difference?

They are both fine, its up to you on which you like.

Are you sure its a short shifter and not a short throw shifter? Most shifters sold online as "short shifters" just have a shorter throw, but keep the same "tallness". Some find the shorter throw annoying and some say it ruins your syncros. Im not saying its true, its just passed around a lot.

I enjoy the long throw, so I got my OEM shifter, had it cut 3", re-threaded, and now I have a TRUE short shifter. It looks damn nice if you ask me.

I'm mixed. I had a short shifter, but it was just shorter in length, the throw was the same. I found I actually couldn't reach it sometimes! Plus with an ITR **** on it, it feels like a knife through butter with the longer throw.
My brother has a proper short shifter in his EG9, and it feels like an S2000 shift, very precise and crisp. But you have to be more accurate.

Put a heavier **** on first.

I have a B&M single bend.... I haven't done my swap yet so I don't know. However, I have always enjoyed short throw shifters, especially for autocross.
