Hello,
I have a really strange problem.
I have a 2000 civic si with a jackson racing supercharger on an obd1 hondata s200b tune. 214whp with 440 injectors and basic bolt ons and exhaust.
Lately, Everytime I put a full tank of gas in the car, the first time I start up the car after the fill up, it bogs out, and dies, then when I restart it I have to feed the car gas to keep it alive, for about 10 to 15 seconds until it can idle on its own, then it throws a CEL (17) Vehicle Speed Sensor.
As soon as the car idles fine, I can turn it off, then turn it back on, starts up just fine and the CEL is gone. It will then run fine and turn down and back over again perfectly until I fill the tank up again completely.
I haven't had any problems at all with the car until this, I guess I'll just stop filling the car up full. And of course I'm filling up with 91 at Chevron always.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks in Advance,
Doug

are you letting the tank reach full E? alot of times if you let the tank run dry (as close to E as possible) there could be debris in the tank the can somtimes clog the filter on your fuel pump. try filling it up with half a tank and see if it still does it (if you havnt done so already).
I really don't think that has anything to do with his VSS. I would investigate the connection on the sensor on top of your tranny to make sure it has a proper hold in case it was disconnected during the install of the SC.
That is a weird situation.
