i just dropped my my motor in..its a gsr 12.1:1 engine. stock injectors and stock ecu(ob2). if i go to start the car while its cold itll idle fine.but after a while itll just die. why wont it stay on?
Did you swap the tps and iacv sockets by accident. I've seen this happen a few times and cause the car to die.

i just put a type r in my car like a month ago.. i had a similar problem, but not quite the same. Make sure you don't have two of the harness wires crossed into the wrong ones. I had to plugs that are next to eachother in the wrong ones which was a simple error, and then the only other thing was the throttle air control sensor **** was clogged. But the problem i was having was it wouldn't stay on at cold start but if it was warm it would. but as soon as i got the harness right, and cleaned that **** out, ooo and a small vacume leak from the back of the intake manifold where the cruise control use to be hooked up, capped off.. everything worked fine.
i totally agree..thats what i was saying..but what they said is that if all the fuel managing is stock..it should be fine. i sure do hope they are wrong and that the tune will resolve this issue.
i have a 98 civic with a b20b and i was running the car with the sohc ecu p2p..and it was running ok, after 2000rpms...so i bought the jumper harness to convert it into obd1 with my p28, which in my case is obd2a. so i plug it in and the car starts but wont idle so it just dies!!!a nunber of things have been changed, tps, map sensor, distributor, ignition module, etc...i tried a p75 i have and it does the same thing..i also messed with the fuel regulator it was 50 so brought it down to 38 thinkin it was runnin to rich...anyone who can help???
But your fuel delivery isn't stock so how will running a stock ecu with an aftermarket fuel pump and 12:1 CR be fine?
