Default Power window motor question

For a while now my driver's side power window has been acting strangely (not responding to the switch, usually when it's in the up position); the other day, it finally decided to be uncooperative when the window was halfway down. I tried changing the fuse- nothing. I tried changing the switch- nothing.

The window makes no attempt to go back up when I flip the switch. I don't hear anything engaging, and the window doesn't even struggle to move. It just sits.

Sounds like the window motor, right?

Thanks for the quick reply; I just got the door panel off and now I'm a bit lost. None of the writeups on the process said anything about taking anything other than the interior panel of the door off, but removing that didn't really expose anything besides a metal panel that's covering everything useful. How the heck am I supposed to get anything out when I can't see anything except through a couple holes the size of my hand?

I haven't looked at it for more than a minute or two because my new window motor hasn't come in yet, but I was hoping to have everything ready for install when it arrives...because driving an automatic family sedan is slowly killing my soul

Any help is greatly appreciated

Re-bump one last time before the motor hopefully comes in today.

Nobody knows specifically how to get it out of the door? I really don't understand how I'm supposed to remove anything from inside the door once the panel is off.
