I am going to sound proof my car this weekend with tar. Before I do it I was gonna try to fix all the little rattles my car has. Before I dig into trying to search for them does anybody have tips for common things that rattle? One of them sounds like its coming from the back and is a thin piece of metal. I was thinking a heat shield maybe, but dunno where the heat shield would be, haven't looked yet.

Rear deck? Also I didn't mention it but I meant more like outside the car. Considering I have nothing in the car right now I know there are no rattles there. ;-)
