Well my problems continue. I don't know whats wrong with my car any more. Again I have a 1993 accord ex 4dr. The steering wheel is still shaking while i brake but I have pretty new rotors on it as well as new pads, main bearings, upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and now new calipers on both sides. Tonight, it did something else. When I turned hard right I let off of the steering wheel to let it come back left. It came back but it was shaking and the pulled left on its own with the steering wheel still shaking. There is also a knock when I make hard turns. I can't tell from what side but its kind of loud and you can feel it in the wheel. Its almost like something is slipping.Any thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks again!

If you mean turning then yes i believe its doing it when i turn both ways. Would this explain the shaking while braking or not and while driving/accelerating?
have you checked your tires if you have bad tires that could be the vibration and just because you have new brakes doesnt mean that they could not have got REALLY hot and warped a little. or maybe you have alot of brake dust on your rotors. so i would say double check your rotors and maybe replace your tires

The clunk is when i turn. The tires are fairly new and were just balanced. They have about 40k on them. I still need to figure out the braking shake though. The rotors were a "u know what" to get out and off of the car. If i replace the cv axles i might as well have them turned or replace them i guess.
how many miles r on the rotors and did u break them in...u can check to c if ur rotors are warped before all that and as far as having them turned...some shops have on car brake lathes so the rotors dont have to come off...but im gonna stick to the axles
they say ur not supposed to do any hard braking or slam on ur brakes for about the first 100 miles after new rotors are installed... after they get that hot and u come to a stop and sit the rotors warp...but after the miles the rotors go through many heat cycles which makes then harder just like hardened metals

I kind of thought that might be what you meant. wasnt sure though. If there is any more advice for me from anyone let me know! Thanks! I will inspect my axles and check my rotors. My dad and i recently checked them with a dial indicator and they werent really uneven. Any ideas? I got an alignment after i did all those repairs from the first post. 4-6 months ago.

You *may* want to take it to another place to get the alignment checked, some places can do a really shotty job at aligning a car. Try to get a computer printout of the before/after specs.
Warped rotors shouldn't do that while driving around, just under braking. I'd stick with the axles being funky, the tires having internal issues, and an alignment.
Are you getting quality tires or are you getting the $50 bargain ones?

I got yokahoma tires. They were 80 bucks a pop. I don't know if they are bad tires. I know they are a big racing tire brand. What do you have for tires? Any recomendations for some all seasons. The ones i have are horrible horrible winter tires.
You should be fine with yok tires. I have some Goodyear ones. I would recommend you a tire site but mine closed doors thanks to the economy haha.
It's possible you just got some that had been sitting around awhile or something. The other thing to make sure is that your wheels are balanced, I know I have one with a slight dent that will shake the steering wheel regardless of alignment.
