Default Exhaust Piping

I got a stock turbo'd car (97 GST) and was wondering what piping should i use? 2.5" or 3" I dont plan on really doing anything much more but was wondering if paying about an extra 80-100 bux is worth it.

3" and no need to worry about upgrading in the future for a good while.

3" gets my vote, unless your REALLY low to the ground and you have clearance issues...

3" would benifit most, but u can also keep exhaust stock and do e-cut to gain power and when near cops or get pulled over shut it and will b on stock exhaust and not get ticket for noise!.. look up exhaust cut outs on youtube(but not cheap,$200)

On my first setup i ran a 2.5". Then when i wanted more power and upgraded my setup, i had to upgrade my exhaust to a full 3". The moral here is to do it right the first time or you're going to spend more in the long run. You will want more power in the future so don't limit yourself in the present

schister66 is right...but as for me i already had 2.5" exhaust,no cat,for my allmotor gsr and now im turbo so instead of redoing to 3" im doing 3"downpipe to 3"e-cutout and reduce flange to hook to 2.5 exhaust....just the way i decided and like!

No problem. And if you're not a Man U fan, who else is worth cheering for?
