HI all I am new to the forum but i need some help... so I have a 1996 acura integra gsr with a t3/t4 flange and a garett 57 trimm its pushing about 350 to the wheels ... I live in hawaii but in july i am going to california to go to uti and there is no way my car can legally pass smog that I know of... is there any way to pass? I mean I dont care how it just needs to pass because I dont want to bring it all the way up there and it fails and I cant use it ... but I am sure there are turboed cars up there and i am sure they are not passable either plz help me out ... thanks Paul...

 

This probably isn't the right place for this - most likely should be in F/I or even GDD.

Anyway, if you're a student, you shouldn't have to register your car in Cali = no need to pass any inspections or smog checking. If they say you have to, then it's yet another reason why Cali sucks.

So are you planning on actually moving there to go to school, i.e. make it your permanent residence?

 

Yea if you move to Cali as your permanent resident then you would have to pay someone to make it pass,Cali laws is strict!

well I figured even though i am not a residince there still will be some kind of thing were I have to register the car there... 94_teggy u said buy a sticker how would i do that.... oh and I am not going to be a permanent resident there I am just going there for school ... so ya idk if anyone knows how to deal with this help....
