Door not locking...
okay the funny thing is that i went to work w/ my normal routine used the remote to open my door (rsx-s) and when i get to work i lock the door and my driver door acts wierd. I noticed that the hatch and pass, door locks but not my door thought it was the battery!?!? but no changed it fresh new battery, and still nothin nowi have to lock it manually!! and its gettin on my nerves, cause when i lock the doors from inside my doesnt' lock but others do. What do you think my be!!?!?! thanks
Take off the door panel and take a peek. Sort of the same thing but not really, my car used to flash when I locked it and one day it just stopped lol. Maybe it's just one of those weird things. I even asked a few dealerships and they had no idea. Anyway, just take a look under the panel, maybe a cut wire or something.
ya but the good news is that on our models they are cheaper the the previous Honda... I can get them for 81$ each where as on my mom ek they were 164$ each!

wow thanks guys yea i was thinking of reseting the remote but then i thoguth i would look under the panel or take the door panel, its wierd how one day it works then it doesn't!?? well wierd thing now is that when i try to unlock my car nothing unlocks and all it does is flash its lights. i might just think that imma take the neg . battery cable out and see what happeneds see if it resets dunoo thanks for your options!!!!
I wouldn't do that if I was you... you will be resetting your ecu so it would have to relearn everything from the idle to fuel air mixture it takes very long... if I am not mistaken it needs to do 4 cold starts, then it must idle for 30 minutes and you must drive at a constant speed of 60 mph for 40 minutes... if you don't do this it will take you up to 2 weeks to get it setup the way it is now... you'll be getting worse gas mileage until the ecu has learnt everything...
Also I can garantee you it won't do anything because the problem is the actuator not giving any power to open up the lock! You are just wasting your time... get new actuators problem solved!

the same thing happened to me I had someone take off my door and it turned out my actuator was shot because the wndow isn't sealed properly and water gets in the door right where the actuator is, there was also pine needles in my door from the previous owner and where he parked the car. it you can find one for 35$ at I believe parts.com
nice, ive been wondering too, mine decided not to lock at all, i thought maybe it was the battery in the remote so i changed it, still did nothing (this happened on the day i had to drive my car out to Cleveland Hospitable, yeah i was nervous) so my car survived, made it back home and then the locks decided to work again once i got home. weird.....
