Ok to start of with about a week or so ago i've been noticing the motor has been struggling (z6, 168k miles) with having any power at all. almost feels like there's no oil pressure or if there is very little of it. not sure where i should start off at. bad compression no idea let me know what you all think :D

 

Start off with doing a compression test.

Any leaks or smoke?

 

smokes a lil here and there and has a leak somewhere from the head but no idea where it's coming from

 

do a leakdown and see how much its leaking, than investigate to see where its leaking from. bottom end and its your rings, open the tb and if air come out its your valves, bubbles in your rad and its your headgasket is what I was told before!

 

soon as the parts store opens i'll head in and pick up a few tools and go from there >_>

 

^^ do this first and then change your headgasket if that is where the leaking is coming from but most likely it is

 

just had it replaced 3k miles ago..and as far as my compression it seems fine appx 160 across em all but i'll check it again..forgot to add that there was massive corrosive buildup on the 2nd and 3rd spark plug..white

 

160 isn't that good, that's getting tired. Typically see 180-210 on the JDM import D's.

 

after 3 more times across each cil....im in some pretty deep problems (looking at the motor) 100,120,150,160 compression..DOH! lol

 

Ok after i put everything back together i go to start the car and it wont fire..just sits there and turns over and over..i can smell the gas also. guess it's not getting any spark
