90 teg PASS. Axle wont fit in hub. Correct splines!
Im pissed.. I have been trying to track down a set of axles( used
) ( hey Im on a friggen budget!
). Anyway, the drivers axle works flawlessly and fits in both spindles from a 91-90 integras. THE PASSENGER side fits in tranny like butter but the outer joint does not fit in hubs!!?
Im pissed!! The splines are 26 which is what they should be .. SO WTF!?
Does anyone know what this f-in axle could be from ?
Axle feels as if its too tight. splines are not that chewed up. Ive seen much worse and still fit.
oh here is the kicker! They are both from the same integra!!!!!!!!

sorry i thought everyone knew what that meant
big ******* hammer. it will pop in there, you just have to convince it. but when you whack it, make sure and keep the axle as level as possible so you don't jack yer joint up.

try just cleaning the spilnes on the spindle. it might have a bit of surface rust stopping you from letting the axle slip in
what model is your car? and what hubs on are the car at the moment? if you are using the DA axles AND DA hubs/spindles, then they should fit. but i'm guessing that you don't know for sure what set of axles you bought?

THe Huds are DA hubs and are still off the car..Axles SHOULD be DA's as well as the axle does fit in the tranny.. The other axle whiich is off the same teg fits perfect in both hubs, rust no rust.. I wanted to test fit the axles to make sure smooth install later.... thankfully I did..

The axle really appears to be in good shape.. form 1-10 its about a 9..
still clueless as to what is up.. anyone have a DA axle end? Iam about to try anything now.. ( maybe return the damn thing
)
Dress up the axle splines with a file/sandpaper and do the same to the hub splines. Then spray them down with some wd40 and it will disolve the rust.
Then BFH and be done with it.

if anyone cares... It took me awhile, but I got it... its still going in kinda harsh but I can get it in... I had to use my good ol' dremel! found to small dents on splines and grinded them out... After that , the axle went in 1/4 of the way and was able to tap it in 3/4 of the way.... still dont understand why its still taking force to get it in...
oh fukin well thanks for the ideas guys...
