I'm looking for a B18B1 and there is one posted on craigslist.

The engine has about 70K miles and was running when it was pulled from a 98 Integra, the head is in perfect condition but the "bottom end developed a lower end ticking from driving through a deep puddle." Is it worth $200 for the short block?

 

Unless you plan to rebuild it and are ready to accept buying an engine with known problems, then stay away from it. Personally, i would just snag a longblock from the marketplace and toss it in. I've learned that buying problems is more of a headache than anything...save yourself the countless hassles and get something reliable.
