Well, I recently bought my 1994 Integra GS-R from my uncle with 145k miles on it, and was wondering how long I should expect the engine to last. As of now, the engine seems perfect. It starts up every time and seems to be running as strong as I'd think it would new.

Anyways, just wondering generally how long the engine life is for most GS-Rs.

 

how much did you end up paying for it if you don't mind me asking? the engine could go as far as 250,000 if taken care of properly maybe even longer depending upon wether or not you drive like a granny or torque the hell out of the pedals. but let us know how much you paid because tons of peeps on this board always ask how much to pay for a teg in that mileage range and year.

 

it all depends on how well it was maintained and driven.

 

I don't mind at all. With the car being my uncle's previous car, he went ahead and sold it to me for $3500 dollars.

 

ur so lucky... also i got a question, if u got new pistons and rings, would the milage not matter much anymore? would the milage in a way start over?
