Default engine swap

can someone explain to me what engine will work with what transmission. i know it sounds like a newb question but i actually want to know. i have a 94 Integra RS and my motor has about 200k on it. i know it has a hydrolic tranny and what not but i'm curious if the if B18c GSR motor would fit in my car without me replacing the Transmission. or would i have to have a tranny swap as well? can someone just explain the process of a Swap from a 1994 - 2001 integras and how the transmission differ from each other? hoping for answers. thank you

Default Re: engine swap

Yes the b18c1 swap will work. Any bseries engine will work with any bseries trans. The only difference between the two trans. is the gearing and final drive ratio.
