the SI is Dead....or dieing
Well ive been noticing a huge power lose in my SI and that it was struggling to go over 6K rpm( it was just detonating), and the block is leaking. So i had a local shop look at it and do a compression check.
cylinder
1-150
2-140
3-120
4-135
Looks like its goin into storage till fall or untill i can get about 6K for a whole new block and built.
~i guess highly hp built civics arnt for DD use~
any one have a sleeved block for sale in the cincy/dayton area ?????

i took it to total performance in cincy ohio, they ran the comprssoin check and since its leaking near the dipstick they said the motor is pretty much gone. and its goes through plugs and bogs in boost extremly bad, like it doesnt wanna go past 6Krpm.
im to sure im just goin with what they say
think it should save it or sell it...i have a guy that will give me 4500 cash for it and seein it my only car it kinda puts me in bad situation

yeah understandable man. It really just depends on how much you have love for the car I mean there has been plenty of times where I wanted to ditch my project cause I thought it wasn't worth it but in the end glad I kept it.
