First you establish short and long term power goals, and then you will know exactly what clutch kit + flywheel you need.

i was thinking of gettin the stage 1 exedy clutch (oem stock)and the fidanza 8.5 flywheel combo on ebay... cause im keeping her all motor with plans for FI next year... i mean for the extra 40$ i might as well get the lightened fly.
I'm running a Stage 3 XTD Cltuch with a stage 4 Flywheel on a Stock d16z6. Yes i know XTD sucks or so everyone says.. Works for now, and it's working fine 10k miles into it. I plan on running that setup untill after boosted and untill the clutch goes out.. then i'll put in something top doller. Just my 2 cents.

Stages are NOT arbitrary. They are marketing methods for products. Stage 1 on clutchmasters and stage 1 on exedy are VERY different.
Read about clutch disc MATERIAL, and different types. Puck, full face, sprung, un-sprung. Then, choose the Pressure plate by the TORQUE it applies, instead of pretty colors and amazing stories.
Getting TOO much clutch is VERY common.
