When you taking it off use a counter clockwise motion. Remember, righty tighty, lefty loosey.

When you put it on use a clockwise motion.

Might want to wrap an old tshirt around it or something, mine was hella hard to get off

when i saw this thread title I knew it was going to be trouble. Get some massive vice grips and use some leverage. Or get a big crecent wrench, or a pipe wrench etc... No tools? Buy one or borrow one.

you want to do a k20 swap????? wtf are you thinking. i could see if you were asking about the whole shifter, kinda. but the ****?? use some elbow grease... if you can't figure that out... you'll NEVER get a k20 swap done. that takes alot of brain to do. apparently you fail at that.

I'll be in LA on Monday, I'll take it off for you, but if I do I'm gonna have to agree with Dkahn18 and I'm gonna keep the old one. Perhaps the previous owner smothered the hole with locktite prior to insertion... just a thought.
