rpm drops after 5k

Default rpm drops after 5k

i have a boost gsr that will run perfectly but my rpm drops to 0 around 5000 rpm. Even with the drop my cars is still running strong. Theres is nothing wrong with the way it run, just that my rpm drops. if anyone can help, let me know. thanks

Sorry but this is the worst thing I have read in months on this site. Please re write your question and maybe that will help us answer your question quicker.

Are you trying to say your tach needle goes limp and falls to 0 after it gets to 5000 rpms?

Lol boost gsr? how many vtacks does that thing have? ive never heard of one of thoes. Reword the ? and mabe you will get some answers

i'm pretty sure he means his tach takes a poop... if the car works fine, i say let it go. just memorize what speeds to shift at and there ya go.

If thats what its really doing then sounds like the distributor is taking a crap.
