I really dont know much about turbo's but i want a little more power in my 01 accord, i found this

Seems pretty complete except for an intercooler i guess. I really only want to run 4 or 5 psi to be on the safe side i dont need a crazy 3000 kit. Would this work for me? I also live in CA asnd will have to take it off and reinstall it every 2 years to pass smog, do i absolutely have to get my car tuned and untuned every two years too?

 

Ebay kits are pretty much junk. Sure, they can and have lasted in the past, but if you do a quick search you'll find out how poor the quality really is.

Why even go through all the trouble for 4-5 psi?

 

not true, ive seen my fair share of ebay kits, they work as long as you get a GOOD tune..do good luck, get a hondata tune or somthing equivalent

So your saying spend 1k on a turbo kit, and then spend more than that on Hondata and a Tune? If your gonna drop $600 plus on Hondata, and $500 on a tune, you might as well spend money on decent parts.
