D series are the cheapest and easiest to boost dude. You can put together a junkyard turbo for less then an ebay one and get better performance

Yea if you go to the forced induction forum...in the stickies at the top there's an entire link to everything about ebay turbos. But either way I bought my almost complete kit from a fellow h-t member for 800 shipped, and I've put about 2 to 3 hundred into it to make it complete. Only thing I didn't buy was a chipped ECU or aftermarket injectors because I feel they are unnecessary for only 5-7 lbs of boost.

ok here it goes. i might get flamed for saying this but im going to give u a summary of the history.
ss auto **** started out like i would say 5-6 years ago and when they came out people where buying the kits like it was nothing. they had problems with their kits back then WG were crap, manifolds would crack, turbo's gaskets would blow, shafts would bend. they were basically all out pieces of **** when they started. and then had a bad rep for...........well they still have a bad rep.
BUT, they have come a long ways since then. (this is where i might get flamed but we'll see) they have listened to their customers and fixed most of their problems(and if they hadnt fixed most or all of their problems how would they still be in buisness today?) nobody will forget their past though, imo the kits are fine, just make sure it comes with a warranty. i have actually seen one of their manifolds(the cheap looking ones that people say they crack and are crappy) well i took it and looked at it and inspected it and its alot more sturdy than i thought it would be, there is alot of hand work put into them to, u could tell by looking at it in person. i am getting one pretty soon not sure if it will be ssac or gs infinity(some what of a new company in canada, french). people will argue and debate over this topic no matter what i say but for the people that have the kits right now and or have had them for a year or 2 will tell u. though i wouldnt expect every part on the kit to last more than 3years. will all of that stuff for that cheap something is bound to go. but its a good way to get started or good way to run low boost.
