warped flange
picked up a used ramhorn manifold and the turbo flange is a little warped, I hit it with my bench top belt sander to show the high and low spots. Is it ok to just go at it with the sander till its flat or should I have it machined? Aslo it has no markings so If anyone has a idea who it may have been made by let me know, or what you think about the qaulity. thanks

Its mine, I couldn't tell you how long ago. I've been doing split Honda flanges for about 5-6 years. If your belt is low speed then give it a couple seconds on there at a time, so long as you are good at applying even pressure. I'll usually run a multi-ply gasket on the stainless flange. If you want it guaranteed perfect - then machine it.
thanks for the help, that means its of good quality and has a lifetime warranty right
think ill give it a go with the belt sander first if im not happy ill machine it
