does anybody know how hard it is to put in a k20a2 swap into an EP3 any mods you have to do??

kool now does anybody know how hard it is to put a k20a the type r motor in a rsx type s cuz i bought the motor off my cousinfor my ep3 and he got a type r for his dc5 so do any of you guys know if it bolts right up to the dc5??

 

im thinking it bolts right up i mean its the same **** kind of

Yes!

 

its the exact same motor as the k20a2 and z1 sans the manifold (outside wise). Not to many differences really

it will just bolt up

 

direct bolt in, k to k ftl

K20A2- 11.0:1 CR 200hp@7400rpm 142 tq@6000 rpm
K20A- 11.5.1 CR 220hp@8000rpm 152 tq@7000rpm
the average k20a costs what about 5-6k? why on earth would you swap it into a car that already the next best k series in it stock? Why not spend that money else where. You can almost build a replica off your k20a2 aside from the higher compression pistons you can replicate the whole thing if you choose or hell buy better stuff and make an all motor beast out of it. seems like a pain in the *** to me.
