Default K20A Type R
How can you tell if the K20A motor is the R spec motor? Has anyone on this site done this swap or know of someone who has?

Yes, it is the type R motor. K20a2 is the type S, and K20a3 is the Si and base RSX motor. What do you want to swap it into? Do a search, there are many threads on this.

From what I have seen yes. Go to http://www.K20a.org to find all you need to know about the K20 and its swaps.
