Default Megan Test Pipe

i got a megan racing test pipe recently. i installed it with the stock header and gasket. after i finished there was an air leak at the header. i was wondering if i should buy a larger than stock gasket or should i just go ahead and buy the header to go along with the pipe.

I would replace the gaskets and use a copper gasket spray when installing them

I agree with Paz, replace the gasket and use the copper spray when installing!

much fail here.......look at you stock cat upper bracket and the upper bracket of your test pipe, the bracket on the test pipe is much thinker. As a result, you have to cut down the springs on the flex joint so it remains a flex joint. If you look right now, your springs are smashed flat and the joint has no way to "float" as the motor rocks under load.

Copper spray
the spray will not do crap, its a flex joint, the cat/test pipe is ment to slide on the cone gasket as the motor rocks under load. Get some steel motor mounts and then you do not need a flex joint anymore......of course your car will vibrate like a huge ***** after that........
