Default help, this happens with every hondas climate control ive ever had

why in the hell do the lights never work man? lol. ive owned an EG, DA, EF, and im rocking an EK right now. and every single ones climate control lights never worked [except for the DA]. is it most likley a fuse thats blown? maybe the bulb? i know hondas usually have the same problems wrong with all the of them so i figured id turn to good ol' HT.

Most likely burnt out bulbs. Buy new ones and replace.

I just removed my climate control in my EJ6 yesterday, funny you ask about it because i was wondering and looking at the bulbs last night. They are NOT a typical bulb. When i pulled mine out they were blue!? i said wtf and put it back in...lol

ill take some pics of the bulbs out of the climate control later tonight for you and see if i can get a part #.

Honda normally just uses clear bulbs with a blue rubber cover over them.

I need to do mine as well. I could hit the controls and they would come on like there is a short inside but now they won't, I just need to get in there and do it.

The bulbs are blue so that when lit, they give off a white light, as opposed to the yellowish light given off by a clear bulb. The blue condom filters out the yellowish hues of the light spectrum, making the resulting light whiter than a clear bulb.

That's why all these hyper white headlight bulbs are blue.
