Questions about milling my head...
I have the capabilities to shave my head myself, the only problem is how much do I need to take off? I have a 1stGen JDM B16a (equal to a U.S. B16a3) which has a 10.2 compression ratio stock, I'm looking to make it no more than 11.1 CR (JDM B18C 96 spec.R). In order to achieve this, how many thousandths do I need to remove? Will I need to run high compression pistons if I go this route, or should I play it safe and mill it to 10.8 CR (JDM B16B 98 spec.R)?
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Peace

I don't have any high compressoon pistons at this time. It would be easier and cheaper to mill the head instead. I just need to know how much is usually taken off. Thanks for any help.

just get some jdm itr pistond for 200 bux on ebay. OEM quality, along with the high-compression you wanted.
Are you new to milling heads, did someone just show you how to do it?
Get the pistons.
