Default D16 stock times?

Just curious if anyone has run a stock D16Z6 and got times? Just wanna compare with others. I have a short ram intake, cat back exhaust, no AC no PS in a CX hatch. It went 15.39 on heavy slicks and 15.4's consistently on street tires. At 1860ft elevation

I have seen some run on low 16s and high 15s, sedans and hatches, with just the usual I/H/E upgrade...

I had a 95 si hatch swap in my 92 vx hatch and went consistent 14.6-14.9 with a 99 si aem cai, 4-1 ebay header, and a stock integra exhaust pipe with a magnaflow muffler. The car weighed 2100 with me in it and thats with no back seats. It shocked alot of people and they thought I was spraying nitrous so I went and put a zex kit on it and ran 12.8-13.2 with nitto 555r drag radials.

Slow @ RealSlow...

But seriously, i think a low 15 is the fastest I've ever seen a Z6 go without nitrous/boost.

lol obv. you havent looked very hard. Take a look at the rex from PR. Going low 12;s with a very minor build. Cheap and way faster than a K swap, need i say more

Theres some built ones going 13s all motor I think thats amazing when a stock Z6 barley puts down 100whp stock. But yeah OP if you want to get out of the 15s I suggest just dipping the single and swapping in a cheap LS swap, then do i/h/e youll easily see mid 14s.

I went 15.86 with a D16a6 in my crx with a pwjdm ek carbon intake, some obx header, and a 2'' exhaust. 6 puck clutch on street tires.

I meant in no way that they have no potential. I was referring to Z6's in EG's as i think the OP posted it was in an EG.

A hf crx of a friend ran 15.75 with a d15b1 engine, with just the a6 cam/y8 gear, pm6 ecu and header on it (stock exhaust). And the motor needs a re-ring, it is somoking a lot.

he is using 22x8x15 slicks.

We are trying to hit low 15´s with 2.25" exhaust, and the re-ring.

Yeah this is my daily driver that I use for 60 mile round trip every day. I'm in the process of building a K motor for it....10's hopefully. I was honestly just shocked by my times I was expecting around a 16:2-16:3. Oh yeah I ment with a EG-EK shell Rex's are really really light lol.

Not at all.... I know what the D's are capable of... Not knocking any of you at all. I think its great that there is still a D following. Keep up the great work.

haha!!! no it's a level but bumpy as hell track!!! probably one of the worst i've seen!! but i did run right after the big v8's and there was still enough vht on the track!! for cruise nights they don't even spray!! and for the big events the only spray it down to the 60 foot mark... and even at that they mix it with other stuff cause they are cheap asses!!

I know the feelin I was spinning 2nd with 22.5 slicks on I think it would have gone faster with better traction.
