Default difference between 1.5-2.3

My brother and I are arguing about the differences between a 1.5 liter and 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, etc. Im pretty sure its not only the bore, but the length of the rods. He thinks the only difference is the bore. Tell me Im wrong.....

I know there are "more than a few" differences between b16's b18's H series, etc. We were just talking about these eagle H-beams he was trying to sell. He thought they would fit any b series motor, and I said they would only fit a b16a, a1-a4 and a6.
Oh, and b16b.

I hope you do know that a B16B is NOT based off of a B16A block. It is based off of the P72(1.8L) block.

I figured the rods were still the same length, though. Still 1.6 liters right?
