Default D Series Golden Eagle Block Question

I am having a block built by Golden Eagle and I have a question about the shaving of the bottom of the sleeves for the proper rod clearance. I am not sure if this needs done on a B series or not. Here is a link from the article that Larry from Endyn did about what needs done on a D series.

Now, I am assuming this still needs done even though GE is sleeving. When I called GE they didn't really know what I was talking about and I found that surprising?
Any insight or help would be appreciated. I am just trying to be prepared once it arrives. Any pics or suggestions is greatly appreciate.

Thanks in advance.

That is more for a stroker crank. Do a test fit first. You should have enough clearance for stock stroke

Almost all the time when using Eagle rods, you have to clearance the D-series engine blocks to keep them from hitting. The people your spoke with on the phone didn't know that because that is something that only the people that have built d-series know. We will not charge extra to do this operation if need be. If you have any further technical questions, please let me know personally by PM 'ing me or by calling the shop and asking for Vince. Thanks and I hope this clears some things up for you.
