Default another build need opinions

ok i got a DRAG 50TRIM ball bearing turbo with a log mani
38 mm tial wastegate
gsr head fully machined, itr valve train gsr cams
ls stock block, fully balanced bottom end
gsr tranni

my questions lie on what piston to use, LS or GSR
AND would i see a huge benefit on cashing out on some ITR cams
i have a hp goal of 350-400hp daily driven....

everything is allready out of the machine shop, i have gsr pistons and ls
LS i thought was ideal due to the low compression....just need some opinions...thanks!

With LS pistons should be 9.9:1 compresion recio, so with a good tune your good to go. I think with GSR pistons should be around 10.4:1
But If you put thicker head gasket like .039 (stock is .029) should give you 9.7:1 on your LS Vtec with LS (P04) pistons.

You want reliability - go with Cometic gaskets, they have any bore size and thickness.
Everyone use's them for turbo I got mine oversized from them too.

you can use any of those GsR, ls, b16 or ctr and itr they all will work fine for ls Vtec, it just differense in compresion ratio.

i would go with the ls pistons due to the slightly lower compression ratio and i would get an oem honda headgasket. The itr cams will definently make more power than the gsr cams and will help you reach your goals a lot easier
