Default Front motor mount

I went to swap out my front motor mount today and encountered to issues.

#1 When i went to remove the aluminum bracket on the engine one of the 14mm bolts had a hige amount of resistance and when i finally got it out the thing was cross threaded bad. I dont know how to deal with this i mean obviously buy a new bolt but the hole you screw it into on the engine is also all messed up inside. What exactly is the procedure to fix this ive hear of tap and chasing but have no idea how to do it or what i need, preferably stuff i can pick up at autozone or home depo.

#2 they supplied me with the wrong motor mount, it looks exactly the same as the old one but it doesn't fit right the holes do not line up on the frame they are a few mm off, I went to the manufactures website and looked up my car 2001 accord auto 2.3 i4, and it listed part number A6572, which is what is printed on the sticker of my box anyone have any experience with this part? Are these parts sometimes just defective and not drilled right?

Will it be ok for me to drive without the front mount till i get all this stuff sorted out i mean its only rubber and the old one was shot to pieces any ways, I started the car and backed it out of the garage seems to vibrate the same as it has for a very long time.

Because of the fittment that is why I only buy stuff like that at the dealer. That is part of the reason it cost more because it fits perfect. Also you can just try and chase the bolt hole threads with a tap. I believe its size 10x1.25. As long as the hole cleans up and the bolt tightens up you'll be fine.

if it is off a few mm that is natural, just get a jack under the motor with a piece of wood inbetween to align the motor. was it off left 2 right of up an down.

off both way up and down right to left about an 8th of an inch. I drew up a template from the oem and has autozone order a new one if it doesn't fit my template ill go to the dealer i guess. There is no way this thning was fitting.
